Private half day by boat on Lake Como

4 hours up to 6 people

Four hours on your own boat, routed around the light and the wind rather than a fixed itinerary. €900 for the boat, up to six of you.

Four hours holds a crossing, a stop and a swim, without rushing. Weighing it against the sunset or a full day? How long you need sets out what each one buys.

A licensed skipper is at the wheel, and water is on board. For the rest, see what you can bring on board.

Where you start matters more than the hours. From the middle of the lake, most things sit fifteen minutes away. From the southern end, the first part of the trip is a transfer. The boat collects you at no extra cost in Tremezzo, Lenno or Bellagio, and Bellagio has three docks. Where the boat leaves from names them all.

Staying at a hotel with its own pier? The Grand Hotel Tremezzo and the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni are on the free list. For any other, ask about that pier by name, and I’ll tell you where the boat meets you.

Check my date

I answer with the pier, the hours and the price for the boat, usually within minutes during the Italian day.

Your best guess is fine.

The day you have in mind, even if it may move.

The town or the hotel. It decides the pier.

The town, or the name of the hotel.

Any children? Their ages go in the notes.

How many of you, from 1 to 12.

A restaurant, a villa, a swim, a proposal.

A name to address the reply to.

An address the answer can reach.

Only if you would rather I answered there.

Nothing is paid here. I reply with the price; if you want the day, a deposit holds it with the operator.

Your details are used to reply, nothing else. What we keep, and for how long →

Good to know

  • If the weather turns. The skipper decides. A day called off for weather moves to a new date at no cost. If the new date does not suit you, the payment comes back in full. What happens if the weather turns covers the rest.
  • More hours. You can add them on the spot if the skipper is free after you. If you think you will want them, say so with the date.
  • Paying. A deposit holds the date, and you settle the rest around the day itself. How you pay sets out the steps.
  • Changing the date. You can move it at no cost up to 24 hours before. The good hours go first, so see how far ahead to book.

Common questions

Is the price per person?

No, it is for the boat. Two people pay the same as six.

Can we choose where we go?

Yes. I suggest a route for the hour and the wind, and then the boat is yours for four hours.

Can you pick us up at our hotel?

Yes, if its pier is on the free list, at no extra cost. Anywhere else, the boat may need an hour to reach you first, and that is billed. Name the hotel when you write.

Would you rather book online right now, without writing to me?

You can. Two booking sites list boat trips on Lake Como, and there you book and pay at once, under each listing's own terms. These links open their lists, not this boat.
