How Como Days works

Three steps from your date to a day on the water. I usually answer within minutes during the Italian day.

A mahogany taxi boat moored at a floating pontoon beside a lakeside pool deck, hazy summer light, mountains and a far shore town behind.
  1. You write to me. The date, where you are staying, how many of you, and what you have in mind. Two minutes, on the form or on WhatsApp.
  2. I check that day. I look at the boat's calendar for your date, and at what your pier and hours allow. Then I come back with one concrete proposal.
  3. You choose. If my boat fits, a deposit holds the date and I tell you how the rest is settled. If it does not, I tell you where to look, and sometimes that is a booking site.

How I am paid

I take these boats out and I part-own the operator that runs them. When your day goes ahead on them, I earn from it. Nothing is paid on this site, and asking costs nothing.

When my boat is not the right one

Each boat takes up to six of you. If there are more of you, if you would rather share a boat with others, or if your date is already taken, I tell you where to look. Private boat or shared tour on Lake Como compares the two.

Where the numbers come from

How I check what I write is on the About page.
