The boat leaves from a dock on the free pick-up list, in Tremezzo, Lenno or Bellagio. Two hotel piers are on it too, named in being picked up at your hotel dock. Tell me where you are staying, and I tell you which dock fits your day.
How you find the boat
The skipper arrives at the dock a little before the agreed hour. You recognise the boat by the company name written on it. If you end up on the wrong dock, the boat sends you a photo on WhatsApp, phones you and talks you across. That is why the dock goes in writing when the date is agreed.
The operator also advises on parking and on the nearest station for each dock. Ask in the same message as the date.
Bellagio is three docks
Bellagio has three docks: Punta, Loppia and Borgo. A message that says only “Bellagio” leaves three places open, so name your hotel and I tell you which one.
Varenna and Menaggio are not on the free list. Ask me before you fix a start there.
The dock is part of the price
Off the free list, the boat has to come to you before your tour begins. That can be an hour under way, and the cost goes up considerably. What a private boat day costs shows how that reaches the final price. What four hours hold from these docks is on the half day page.

Common questions
Can you send me the address of the dock the boat leaves from in Tremezzo?
Yes: send the date and where you are staying, and my reply names the dock. The skipper is there a little before the hour, on a boat with the company name on it. If you end up at the wrong dock, a photo and a call on WhatsApp settle it.
Could you pick us up in a different town instead, at the same time?
Name the town when you write, and I tell you whether it is on the free list and what a start there adds.
Our hotel has its own pier. Can the boat collect us there?
If its pier is on the free list, yes, at no extra cost: today that is the Grand Hotel Tremezzo and the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni. For any other hotel, name it when you write and I check its pier.
