Private sunset on the water, Lake Como
2 hours up to 6 people
Two hours on your own boat around sunset, with spritz and prosecco on board. €500 for the boat, up to six of you.
Spritz and prosecco come with the sunset, and there is usually water on board. Tell me the date and I’ll tell you when the boat leaves. Here is what time the sun goes down on your date.
Planning a proposal? Put it in your message, so the skipper knows the moment matters. Sunset and lunch are the slots that fill first, so for an evening that matters, write early: how far ahead to book has the calendar.
A licensed skipper collects you and brings you back at no extra cost in Tremezzo, Lenno or Bellagio. Two hotels with a private pier are on the same list: the Grand Hotel Tremezzo and the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni. Anywhere else, the skipper has to come and fetch you first. That can take the boat an hour, and it costs more. Tell me where you are staying, and I’ll tell you where the boat meets you.

I answer with the pier, the hours and the price for the boat, usually within minutes during the Italian day.
Good to know
- If the weather turns. The skipper decides. An evening called off for weather moves to a new date at no cost. If the new date does not suit you, the payment comes back in full.
- More hours. You can add them on the spot if the skipper is free after you. If you think you will want them, say so with the date. For a longer day, the private half day is four hours.
- Paying. A deposit usually holds the evening, and the rest is settled around the day. How you pay has the steps.
- Same price all season. An evening in July costs what one in September does. The other hours are in what a private boat day costs.
Common questions
Is the €500 for the boat or per couple?
For the boat. Two of you pay the same €500 as six, and sunset costs €30 more than the same two hours by day.
Is a sunset slot for tomorrow realistic?
Sometimes. Write first, and I look at tomorrow evening and answer. Without notice a sunset is hard to get, and in July, August and September the good hours go first.
Would you rather book online right now, without writing to me?
You can. Two booking sites list boat trips on Lake Como, and there you book and pay at once, under each listing's own terms. These links open their lists, not this boat.
