Terms
What this site is, what it is not, and who you are dealing with when you send a request.
This site publishes information about spending a day on Lake Como by boat, and passes on requests. It does not take bookings and it does not take payment. Nothing you do here creates a contract for a trip.
What happens to a request
Sending one starts a conversation. We read it, we answer it, and where it makes sense we put you in touch with the operator who would run the day. The agreement for the trip — the price, the deposit, the cancellation terms, what happens if the weather turns — is between you and that operator, and their conditions are the ones that hold. We describe how it usually works on this lake so you know what to expect and what to ask; a description is not a guarantee.
How we are paid
Some links here go to booking platforms that pay a commission, and each one says so next to the link rather than only in a footer. Luca part-owns one of the operators on this lake.
About the information
Every specific claim carries where it came from and the date it was checked, and anything unmeasured says so rather than being filled in. Even so, a lake changes: timetables move, docks close, prices are set by other people. Check anything that your day depends on before you rely on it. How the facts here are collected and dated explains what the marks mean.
The words and photographs on this site are ours. The facts are not: use them, and a link back is welcome rather than required.
