"Free up to 48 hours before" is a sentence that needs working out every time. This does the working out: the hours become a date and a time on your calendar.
Your cancellation clock, in real dates and hours
Terms are written in hours before. Put in when the trip starts and read them as the dates and hours they are. Each line says where the term comes from.
Hours are shown exactly as entered, local time on the lake, with no time-zone conversion. Terms differ from one operator to another: read the ones on your own confirmation. Where these terms come from
Tell me your date The reply to a request says these terms before you commit.
Read your own terms, not these
The terms on this clock are the ones for a day booked direct, and the ones the large platforms usually publish. Each line says where the term comes from and when it was checked. Other operators set their own, and the terms that bind you are the ones on your confirmation: read those, and use this clock to see what they mean in dates and hours.
Weather is a separate matter. A day called off for weather is moved at no cost whatever the date, so none of the hours above apply to it. The rest of what early and last minute mean here is in how far ahead you need to book.
